It turns out that a bunch of local insects liked our sandbag setup. Under the sandbags, we found cicada's their exoskeletons, and this cool scarab. It's kinda cool that we can just change our environment a little, and nature reacts to it. Like, all these bugs go "Hey, what a nifty place to moult!"
On the glass-half-empty side, a colony of no-see-ems seem to like it here, too. We're going to fog the place with tea tree oil to get rid of them! Anyway, here's a picture of our raised garden bed project. It won't look like a bunker when it's finished. Updates shall ensue!
